Job Purpose:
Responsible for leading structural engineering activities for FPSO topsides and Onshore LNG facilities. The role ensures the delivery of safe, efficient, and code-compliant structural designs from concept through detailed engineering, supporting fabrication, transportation, installation, and commissioning phases.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead structural design and analysis for FPSO modules, equipment foundations, pipe racks, LNG plant structures, and related facilities.
- Develop and review structural calculations, design reports, specifications, and drawings.
- Perform load-out, transportation, lifting, and installation analyses for modularized structures.
- Ensure compliance with project specifications, client requirements, and international standards (API, AISC, Eurocode, DNV, ISO, etc.).
- Interface with multidisciplinary teams including process, piping, mechanical, marine, and construction.
- Provide technical support during fabrication, construction, and offshore/onshore installation.
- Mentor junior engineers and review their technical deliverables.
Qualifications / Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (Master's degree is an advantage).
- Minimum 8-10 years of structural engineering experience in Oil & Gas EPC projects.
- Proven experience in FPSO topsides and/or Onshore LNG projects.
- Proficiency in structural analysis software such as SACS, STAADPro, SESAM, or similar tools.
- Strong knowledge of international offshore and onshore design codes and standards.
- Good communication skills and ability to work within multicultural, multidisciplinary project teams.
