We are looking for a Subsea Structural Engineer to support engineering design and delivery across multiple subsea projects. You will work within a multidisciplinary team to produce highquality engineering deliverables and ensure safe, compliant and efficient project execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Support and supervise subsea design work across several projects.
- Manage interfaces with other disciplines, clients, suppliers, document control and project teams.
- Identify scope changes and raise change notifications with supporting documentation.
- Deliver structural design and analysis using industry tools (e.g., SACS, ABAQUS).
- Develop and review engineering documents including drawings, calculations, procedures, reports and technical specifications.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards (DNV, ISO, API, ASME) and client requirements.
- Attend project, vendor and interface meetings as required.
- Mentor and support junior engineers.
- Contribute to continuous improvement and development of inhouse engineering tools.
- Ensure safety, quality, and regulatory requirements are met.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Civil, Structural or Mechanical Engineering (Master's preferred).
- Minimum 5 years experience in FEED and detailed design for subsea or pipeline structures.
- Experience with SPS/SURF equipment is an advantage.
- Strong skills in structural analysis and subsea engineering software (SACS, Autopipe; ABAQUS is a plus).
- Good understanding of subsea design codes and specifications.
- Strong communication, reporting and presentation skills.
- Able to plan work, coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, and deliver quality outputs on schedule.
- Positive attitude, good problemsolving skills and willingness to train and develop junior engineers.
