Senior Supply Chain Planner

About The Role

We are an expanding power solutions group with operations across several plants. We are seeking a Senior Associate in Supply Chain to support our continuous growth and strengthen our end-to-end supply chain capabilities. This role works closely with internal and external stakeholders across multiple regions and offers the opportunity to take ownership of critical operational processes.

What You'll Do

1) Primary Point of Contact - Customer Service

• Serve as the primary point of contact from sales team for parts indent and order requests, and devise action plans for urgent support cases.
• Gather and consolidate requirements from the sales and warehouse teams; perform checks before submitting purchase requisitions.
• Provide clear updates on backorder statuses to sales team and customers as well as accurate and realistic estimation of delivery lead times both internally and externally.

2) Inventory Planning

• Plan inventory by using company-approved demand forecast models; monitor and identify changes in sales trends, stock levels, and supply risks.
• Work with management to improve inventory processes, forecast models, and support digitalisation efforts.

3) Parts Procurement

• Liaise with vendors to know backorder statuses, lead time, latest pricing, negotiations, etc.

What We're Looking For

• 58 years of experience in Supply Chain, Procurement, Material Planning, Engineering, or related fields; SQL knowledge is a plus.
• Strong skills in Microsoft Excel or other similar tools.
• High attention to detail and strong analytical ability.
• A strong sense of ownership and focus on delivering results.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work with stakeholders across different teams and regions.
• Knowledge of diesel engines is an added advantage.
