JOB DESCRIPTION
- Participate in projects and support existing financial applications, including SAP ECC6, SAP BW, SAP DM, SAP BPC, and non-SAP financial applications under the Corporate Solutions section of the Digital Enterprise Solutions department.
- Determine financial application requirements for users through the following activities:
- Analyze current and future needs, and current practices of business users and stakeholders to identify solutions.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their needs, objectives, and challenges.
- Elicit, document, and analyze business requirements, processes, and workflows.
- Translate business requirements into clear functional specifications for technical teams.
- Provide impact analysis and advisory services.
- Create detailed documentation, including business requirements, process flows, Functional Specification Documents (FSDs), use cases, and user stories.
- Plan, schedule, and document new developments and enhancements to existing financial applications.
- Organize and conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT) sessions with users.
- Develop Advanced Business Application Programming (ABAP) objects and identify opportunities for development improvements, implementing action plans, especially for ABAP-based solutions.
- Provide first-level application support to ensure system availability.
- Troubleshoot ABAP and non-ABAP applications, databases, and system issues reported by users to determine root causes and resolutions.
- Collaborate with business owners, digital technology teams (Infrastructure, Network, Security, Application), and vendors for project delivery and Business-as-Usual (BAU) operations.
- Examine and implement best practices in application development and system maintenance to improve processes.
- Implement processes, development standards, and system improvements to enhance system stability and performance.
- Work with the Strategy Planning and Enterprise Architecture team to define and implement new application architecture.
- Conduct periodic project assessments and reviews to ensure compliance with architectural standards.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Malaysian citizen.
- Pass Malay Language including an oral test at the Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) level.
- Possess a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or an equivalent qualification in a relevant field recognized by the Government.
- Minimum 7 to 10 years of relevant experience, particularly in developing and supporting financial applications, particularly in SAP ECC6, SAP BW, SAP DM, and SAP BPC, and other future financial applications.
- Possess a certification from Oracle or SAP in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) is an advantage.
Technical Skills
- Holding SAP certification, experience in S/4HANA implementation, and familiarity with FI and RE-FX modules is advantageous.
- Proficient in multiple ERP/financial modules and their functionalities.
- Possess working knowledge of project management methodologies and business analysis techniques.
- Skilled in designing and developing process flows, user journeys, and wireframes.
- Experienced in integrating applications with enterprise backend systems, databases (MS SQL Server and Oracle), Business Process Management (BPM), or through APIs (REST).
- Well-versed in Software Development Lifecycles (SDLC), Agile methodologies, DevOps practices, and Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) processes.
- Possess a strong knowledge of ERP/Financial modules and functionalities i.e. AP, GL, AR, Fixed Asset, Procurement, Financial Reporting etc.
- Familiar with ERP/Financial processes, routing and approval flow i.e. payment process, procurement process etc.
- Knowledgeable in ERP/Financial integration approaches and methodologies with external system.
