Role Purpose

We are looking for an IT professional to join as a member of our Global Head Office Business IT - Network Data Domain. In this role, you will support the delivery of IT projects and solutions that meet DHL's technology standards. You will contribute technical expertise, support system implementations, and drive complex integration and migration initiatives.

This role can be based ineither Cyberjaya (Malaysia) or Singapore.

How will you contribute to the success of DHL

IT Systems Development, Configuration and Testing

• Provide technical expertise in modern IT development technologies, especially in Customers and Customs Clearance systems.
• Contribute to solution design, development, and implementation activities.
• Configure and implement IT systems using approved technology components (e.g., Service-Oriented Architecture).
• Design solutions to meet non-functional requirements.
• Support system deployment and ensure project timelines and budgets are met.
• Conduct technical quality reviews and testing of solutions.

Technology, Touchpoints, People and Processes

• Keep abreast of emerging technologies and apply them where appropriate.
• Lead and support complex migration, integration, and transition projects.
• Identify technology risks or issues early in the development cycle.
• Build and maintain strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Finance and Project Management

• Complete assigned deliverables according to project schedules.
• Support Project Managers in managing IT project budgets.
• Track, resolve, and close technical issues in a timely manner.

People Collaboration

• Communicate clearly and collaborate effectively across project teams.
• Demonstrate self-motivation and handle challenges constructively.
• Proactively develop knowledge of DHL's culture, applications, and relevant technologies.

What will make you successful in this role

We welcome applicants with a solid background in IT and system integration. The ideal candidate should have:

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Minimum 5 years of IT experienceacross multiple technical domains.
• Minimum 1 yearof experience with serviceoriented architecture and related technologies (e.g., Software AG, Java).
• At least 2 yearsworking in a multinational environment, ideally within logistics or transportation.
• Experience with relevant integration technologies (e.g., IBM WebMethods Integration/BPM or equivalent).
• Strong interest in technology and a collaborative, positive, and proactive mindset.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to synthesise information and explain complex concepts clearly.
• Good understanding of serviceoriented and integration architecture.
• Knowledge of SQL and database concepts.
• Handson experience with integration tools (e.g., IBM webMethods IS/BPM, MapForce, FICO, Rules Engine).
• Effective communication skills in English, including presenting to business stakeholders.
• Strong problem-solving capabilities and attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively across functional and geographical teams. Experience working in crosscultural environments is an advantage.
