Role Overview

As a Talent Acquisition Specialist / Senior Specialist at Gradiant you will play a crucial role in identifying, attracting, and retaining top talent within the water industry. Recruitment activities would primarily be in the APAC; however, the individual must be flexible to support other countries/regions where needed. You will be part of the TA COE and collaborate closely with hiring managers and HR professionals to understand staffing needs and develop effective recruitment strategies. The role will be based in Malaysia, supporting recruitment in APAC, primarily China and Taiwan.

Your key responsibilities will include:

Responsibilities:

Talent Sourcing and Recruitment:

Utilizing various channels, including job boards, social media, networking events, and industry connections, to actively source and attract qualified candidates.

Screening resumes, conducting initial interviews, and evaluating candidates to ensure alignment with job requirements and organizational culture.

Managing the end-to-end recruitment process, from posting job ads, scheduling interviews, managing offer proposals to extending offers and negotiating terms.

Relationship Building:

Establishing and maintaining strong relationships with hiring managers, department heads, and external partners to understand their staffing needs and provide timely support.

Collaborating with internal stakeholders to develop interview questions and assessment tools that accurately reflect position requirements and attract suitable candidates.

Employer Branding and Promotion:

Promoting Gradiant as an employer of choice within the water industry through effective employer branding initiatives, including social media campaigns, career fairs, and industry conferences.

Developing compelling recruitment marketing materials, such as job postings, brochures, and videos, to showcase the company's values, culture, and career opportunities.

Candidate Experience:

Ensuring a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process by providing timely communication, feedback, and support.

Soliciting feedback from candidates and hiring managers to continuously improve recruitment practices and enhance the overall candidate experience.

Data Analysis and Reporting:

Ensuring full utilization of internal Applicant Tracking System(ATS) to manage requisitions and candidate dispositioning throughout the recruitment process.

Ensuring data integrity through regular candidate dispositioning. Generating regular reports and dashboards to communicate recruitment outcomes, challenges, and opportunities to senior management and stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • Proven experience as a Talent Acquisition Specialist or Recruiter, preferably within the water industry, Engineering or a related field.
  • In-depth knowledge of recruitment best practices, sourcing techniques, and employment laws and regulations.
  • While it is mostly remote work, there should be flexibility to come into the office at least once a week or as and when requested.
  • There may be some travel required within APAC
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
  • As the role would primarily support China & Taiwan, proficiency in Mandarin (ability to read, write and converse) is a required.
  • Ability to work effectively independently with minimum supervision in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in HRIS and Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS).
