Job Description

Job Purpose

  • Facilitates daily project tasks to support project teams and keep initiatives on track.
  • Lead full project delivery, manage resources, risks, and stakeholder expectations, business units, project sponsors, cross-functional teams, and vendors.
  • Delivers projects on time, within budget, and scope. Mitigates risks and manages stakeholder satisfaction
  • End-to-end project delivery ownership (inclusive scope, schedule, and budget).
  • Lead cross-functional teams and manage vendor relationships.
  • Manage stakeholder expectations and communications.
  • Ensure compliance with project governance and quality standards.
  • Identify and mitigate risks and issues proactively.
  • Negotiate with vendors and manage contracts.
  • Prepare and present project status, forecasts, and IT Spend Papers.
  • Mentor junior project managers and support team development.

  • Proven track record managing medium to large projects; experience across full project lifecycle; able to handle cross-functional teams and vendors.
  • Adjust timelines, task assignments, and sprint plans within approved scope.
  • Delegate tasks, adjust resource workload, or request backups from resource pool.
  • Monitor vendor deliverables or minor change orders within contract terms.
  • Implement risk responses and recovery plans without escalation if within impact thresholds.
  • Manage updates, engagement, and expectation setting independently.

Financial Perspectives:

  • Prepares, tracks, and controls project budgets, including cost forecasts.
  • Manages vendor contracts and monitors invoice validation.
  • Assesses the financial impact of change requests, scope or timeline changes.

Business Process and Initiatives:

  • Leads end-to-end execution of delivery initiatives, ensuring milestones are met.
  • Ensures project processes are aligned with QM, compliance, and IT governance.

Customer Perspectives:

  • Ensures project outcomes align with customer pain points or business outcomes.
  • Builds trust with key stakeholders and resolve issues proactively.
  • Sets clear expectations and manages change effectively to avoid surprises.

Talent Engagement:

  • Motivates team members and fosters accountability and ownership.
  • Guides junior PMs or team members, sharing experience and knowledge.
  • Resolves team issues diplomatically.

Education

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Strongly preferred: PMP (Project Management Professional), PRINCE2 Practitioner or Scrum Master.
