XTS Technologies Sdn Bhd is a leading factory and warehouse automation system integrator in Malaysia. We design, manufacture, and install high-quality, cost-effective turnkey solutions—including Robotic Systems, Intralogistics Smart Warehousing, ASRS (Automated Storage & Retrieval Systems), AGVs/AMRs, and Ultrasonic Cleaning systems. As we accelerate the transition of Malaysian industries into Industry 4.0, we are seeking a dynamic, technically savvy Sales Engineer to drive our business growth.

About the Role

As a Sales Engineer, you will bridge the gap between complex engineering concepts and commercial business solutions. You will be responsible for identifying B2B market opportunities (primarily in manufacturing, logistics, e-commerce, and F&B), understanding their operational pain points, and presenting XTS's cutting-edge automation systems.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Business Development: Hunt and secure new B2B project leads in manufacturing, logistics, and warehousing sectors.
  2. Site Surveys: Visit client factories/warehouses to assess their layouts and understand their automation needs.
  3. Proposals & Pitching: Collaborate with our internal engineering team to prepare technical proposals, quotations, and present solutions to clients.
  4. Relationship Management: Maintain strong relationships with corporate clients and follow up on project handovers.

Job Requirements

  • Education: Diploma/Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, or Automation Engineering.
  • Experience: 1–3 years of experience in technical B2B sales, preferably in industrial automation, machinery, robotics, or conveyor systems.
  • Skills: Ability to read basic technical drawings (AutoCAD/SolidWorks layout is a plus). Strong presentation and negotiation skills.
  • Communication & Mobility: Excellent communication skills to manage and consult local SME business owners. Must possess own transport and be willing to travel.
