Responsibilities
- Perform repairs and maintenance on electrical systems in guestrooms, kitchens, outlets, and public areas.
- Ensure that all electrical equipment, including heaters, generators, and lighting systems, are in good working condition.
- Conduct daily checks on mechanical and electrical installations.
- Respond promptly to maintenance work orders and ensure follow-up on outstanding issues.
- Assist in electrical works for hotel renovations and expansions, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
- Conduct routine electrical insulation tests and maintain records.
- Perform scheduled preventive maintenance for all electrical and mechanical systems.
- Assists Project Engineers/Maintenance Engineers on renovation works on expansion of Hotel facilities, i.e., electrical installation for safety compliance to JBE standard.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering or any related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in an electrical services environment, preferably in Hotel industry.
- Strong knowledge of electrical repairs, wiring, and installations.
- Good interpersonal skills and teamwork abilities.
- Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia
- Flexible and able to work as per hotel operational needs and requirements.
- Due to work permit restrictions, only citizens of Malaysia and Permanent Residents of Malaysia shall be considered.
