Job Purpose:
Drive disciplined execution of electronics maintenance, repair, and assembly activities for ROV and subsea systems within the Electrical/Electronic Team
Support workshop and offshore operations to ensure equipment readiness, reliability, and performance in line with operational requirements
Ensure smooth coordination with cross-functional teams while maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and efficiency
Key Accountabilities:
Responsible for execution of electronics-related activities including assembly, commissioning, maintenance, and repair of ROV systems, subsea tooling, and associated equipment
Ensure all work is completed in accordance with company and client standards, meeting deadlines and operational expectations
Perform diagnostic, fault finding, and troubleshooting of electronic and electro-mechanical systems
Support mobilization and demobilization of ROV and subsea equipment both onshore and offshore
Supervise and guide junior technicians, apprentices, and interns, ensuring adherence to safety practices and technical standards
Provide hands-on support for workshop tasks including assembly, disassembly, and manufacturing of subsea equipment
Maintain accurate documentation including service reports, test records, and asset maintenance reports (AMR)
Coordinate and collaborate with other disciplines such as mechanical, hydraulic, and fabrication teams
Ensure proper housekeeping, tool management, and safe operation of equipment such as forklifts and lifting tools
Support urgent operational requirements, including short-notice tasks and material preparation
Promote and adhere to QHSE standards, ensuring compliance with safety policies and fostering a strong safety culture
Assist in loading and offloading of equipment, including rigging, slinging, and manual handling activities
Qualifications / Certifications:
Diploma or Trade Qualification in Electronics or related field
Additional technical certifications in electronics, instrumentation, or subsea systems are an advantage
Valid offshore certifications (if required) will be an added advantage
Relevant Experience:
Minimum 5 years of experience as a qualified electronics technician, preferably in oil & gas, subsea, or offshore environment
Hands-on experience with ROV systems, subsea tooling, and electronic/electro-mechanical equipment
Strong experience in diagnostics, troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of electronic systems
Experience working in workshop and offshore environments, including equipment mobilization and commissioning
Familiarity with working alongside multidisciplinary teams in engineering and production settings
Experience in supervising junior personnel and supporting team development

Special Requirements:
Willingness to travel and work onshore/offshore as required (valid passport required)
Physically fit to perform manual handling and operational tasks
Flexibility to support urgent and short-notice operational requirements
Willingness to work overtime when necessary
