In this role at CelcomDigi, you will be the RAN and New Technology Development Architect where your main responsibility will be to develop new RAN technology and solutions such as Open-RAN, Satellite communications to Mobile Devices, as well as modelling and assessing technology impact based on business requirements. You will also support Enterprise Business on translating requirements to be assessed and considered for implementation into the existing or future network.

Your Responsibilities : (What is this role all about What are the expectations of the applicant)
- To develop new RAN technologies and solutions which includes modelling and assessment on technology impact based on business requirement, which involves cross functional areas consisting of RAN, Transport, Core and Cloud.
- To be actively involved in the yearly Business Plan process supporting for network Capex and Opex by establishing guidelines for the best network plan and seeking relevant approvals. In this process, you'll be responsible to ensure proper documentations and guidelines established for further reference.
- To continuously seek improvements in operational efficiency and better cost efficiency for our business services with strong mindfulness on Green initiatives.
- To work closely with internal and external stakeholders to assess and identify the industry best practices in new/emerging telecom technologies.
Your Merits :
- Experienced in bringing early technology and standards into the market.
- At least 6 years of experience in Telecommunication industry especially on Radio Access technologies and relevant mobile network interworking.
- Good knowledge in modelling, translation and dimensioning while being savvy in end-to-end network functionality.
- Broad telecommunication network and technology strategy knowledge particular in Next Generation Technologies.
