Senior Test Analyst (Cantonese Speaker)

Role Summary

As a Test Analyst, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products. You will work closely with product owners, business analysts, developers, and other stakeholders to develop and execute comprehensive test plans. Your role will involve identifying and resolving UAT issues to ensure our products meet the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Story Analysis: Work closely with product owners and business analysts to thoroughly understand user stories.
• Test Planning and Execution: Develop, document, and execute test plans and test cases.
• Defect Identification and Reporting: Identify, document, and track defects using JIRA / bug tracking tools.
• Collaboration: Work closely with developers and product managers throughout the UAT process, particularly on defect follow-up and resolution.
• Automation: Develop and maintain automated test scripts to improve testing efficiency.
• Regression Testing: Perform regression testing to ensure existing functionality is not affected by new changes.
• Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation of test cases, test results, and defects.

Qualifications:

• University degree with relevant working experience in insurance or financial service industry.
• Proficiency in test management and bug tracking tools (e.g., JIRA).
• Versatile and knowledgeable in operations, processes, and Agile projects.
• Experience with automated testing tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in English and Cantonese.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality
