Senior Test Analyst (Performance Tester)

Test Strategy & Planning:

• Co-ordinate with stakeholders and collect required NFR.

• Estimate effort for entire PTLC (scripts, executions, complexity).

• Identify critical flows, and system architecture to plan the performance testing

• Create the test plan for performance testing.

Test Data & Script Preparation and Workload model:

• Create robust script using required protocols and maintain in GitHub

• Validate and review team members scripts for accuracy and performance logic.

• Make sure test data is adequate for execution activity.

• Create realistic workload model and execute the scenarios.

Monitoring & Analysis:

• Monitor server metrics using ELK, Grafana, CloudWatch.

• Use Unix/Linux shell scripts to analyze backend server resource utilization.

• Identify DB-related bottlenecks and recommend indexing/optimization strategies.

• Provide tuning recommendations and work with Dev/Infra teams to fix them.

BAU Performance:

• Baseline test for existing BAU modules

• Contribute to Postman API testing for BAU.

• Monitor performance at staging level and prepare comparative report after changes.

Innovation & Leadership:

• Mentor junior testers on scripting, analysis, and best practices.

 • Lead evaluation of new tools or frameworks relevant to Client's performance testing stack.

• Document and enhance performance testing standards, reusable assets, and SOPs.

Chaos & Reliability Testing:

• Gain expertise in Chaos Testing tools (FIS, Canary, CloudWatch).

• Create and maintain chaos test plans in alignment with performance goals.
