About the Role
We are currently looking out for Senior Test Automation Engineer. As a Senior Test Automation Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring that our products and services meet the highest standards. You will be working within one of our development teams to design, automate, and execute test plans, document defects, and collaborate on solutions to enhance product quality.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop and automate Test Cases to validate software functionality.
- Perform manual execution of test cases as part of the QA process.
- Collaborate with the QA Lead to identify areas for improvement in our QA processes.
- Collaborate with the rest of the development team members to identify areas of improvement in our product.
- Participate in agile development and be familiar with scrum, be involved in estimating and planning the testing activities.
- Understand and test both the functional and non-functional requirements of the system.
- Define, implement and maintain testing plans and test cases in accordance with the guidance from the QA Lead.
- Analyze and report defects and communicate effectively with the rest of the development team to ensure issues are resolved in a timely manner.
- Stay up to date with the latest testing tools and technologies.
Requirements
- At least 6-8 years of experience in test automation, with a focus on business applications.
- Proven working experience in test automation tools such as Playwright (Cypress is acceptable)
- Strong knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript.
- Expertise in API testing.
- Experience in creating and maintaining CI-CD pipelines (preferably Azure DevOps).
- Working knowledge of SQL.
- Having experience with performance testing tools would be an advantage (like K6).
- Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics 365, AX 2012, or similar ERP systems is a strong advantage.
- Hands-on experience with test case management tools such as Azure Test Plans, JIRA, Zephyr Scale, or similar.
- Bachelor's degree in IT.
- ISTQB or similar certification.
- Candidate should be able and willing to use AI tools to improve quality of work and speed, with tasks where it's applicable.
