Your impact
We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Testing Associate to join our quality assurance team. The ideal candidate will have 6–9 years of hands-on experience in both manual and automation testing, with strong expertise in Playwright using .NET, along with exposure to RPA tools and processes. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of our software products through comprehensive testing, automation development, and close collaboration with cross-functional teams.
Test Planning & Strategy
- Collaborate with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to understand business requirements and define robust test strategies.
- Develop detailed test plans, test cases, and test scenarios covering both functional and non-functional requirements.
- Ensure alignment of QA activities with project timelines and delivery goals.
Manual Testing
- Execute manual test cases to identify defects, inconsistencies, and usability issues.
- Perform various types of testing, including functional, regression, integration, system, and UAT.
- Document and track defects using standard defect management tools.
Automation Testing
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable automation frameworks.
- Build and execute automated test scripts for UI and end-to-end testing.
- Integrate automation frameworks into CI/CD pipelines for continuous testing.
- Analyze test results, debug failures, and coordinate with development teams for resolution.
Technical Proficiency
- Demonstrate flexibility in adopting new tools and technologies.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient automation scripts using C#/.NET.
- Apply automation best practices, design patterns, and coding standards.
- Exposure to API testing and performance testing is an added advantage.
Here's what you'll need
Primary Skills
- Strong expertise in Manual Testing and Automation Testing.
- Experience in automation Testing
- Proficiency in any programming language.
- Experience with defect tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps).
- Experience with API testing tools (e.g., Postman, RestAssured).
Secondary Skills
- Experience working with CI/CD tools (Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitHub Actions).
- Exposure to cloud environments (Azure preferred).
- Familiarity with Power Platform (Power BI, Power Apps) is a plus.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
- 6-9 years of experience in software testing and automation.
- Strong understanding of QA methodologies, SDLC, and Agile practices.
- Exposure to data analysis, data validation, and transformation.
- Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
