This position is required to lead and execute the full aspects of solution testing from Test Strategy including Test Resource Management, Test Plan Schedule Creation, End to End test cases preparation, test environment and test data set-up, test execution, test progress tracking/reporting and defect management. This position also requires the individual to ensure compliance level is established and followed based on the standards of the proposed AIA Enterprise QA Framework
Job Responsibilities:
- Work closely with the AIA Business Units, Vendors and Product teams to drive quality testing and ensure conformance of quality standards based on the Enterprise QA Framework.
- Lead and manage the testing processes and procedures, test case design, test execution, capturing test results and analysis, defect management, traceability matrix and test reporting.
- Support the Associate Director of Quality Engineering Assurance in planning, monitoring, and managing the testing activities and operations infused in the projects based on AIA Enterprise QA framework.
- Lead the implementation, and evolvement of testing framework, measure, and report on the success metrics, grow the team's knowledge in the application of testing tools/process to meet the testing mandate.
- Develop, explain, and lead the overall Test Strategy for system implementation projects
- Function as a Governance (maker/checker role) in accordance to the Enterprise QA Framework / SDLC which includes establishing and tracking quality assurance metrics.
Job Requirement:
- Minimum 8 years working experience in managing and leading a testing team with end-to-end testing for large scale and major projects.
- Insurance domain knowledge.
- Strong experience in managing testing both in an Agile and Waterfall delivery environment.
- Extensive hands-on experience in planning, testing and defect tracking skills include using a variety of tools such as JIRA and Confluence.
- Familiar with test program concerns including test data management, testing policy, risk, issue reporting ad resolution, test design and test development.
- Familiar and experience with DEVOPS/Continuous Integration such as Jenkins or Azure DEVOPS is a plus point.
- Good knowledge in non-functional related areas such as Performance Testing and Automation Testing is a plus point.
- ISTQB CTFL, ISTQB CTAL is preferred.
