We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Treasury Analyst to join our Global Business Services (GBS) Finance team based in Kuala Lumpur. Established in early 2017, the GBS Finance unit manages financial transactions for Air Liquide entities across the Asia Pacific region, covering P2P, O2C, R2R, and Treasury functions.
Backed by an experienced group of finance personnel, you will be involved in Continuous Improvement Projects, leveraging new and emerging technologies and automation to drive operational and cost efficiencies. This role offers a chance to progressively increase your expertise and expand the scope of activities.
How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW
- Cash Management & Liquidity: Oversee daily cash management operations, including liquidity optimization, cash flow, funding, cash investments, payments, and managing bank accounts and relationships.
- Treasury Structure & Efficiency: Optimize bank account structures, implement global cash pooling, and maximize overall treasury efficiency.
- Risk & Compliance: Manage foreign exchange (FX) risk through hedging activities. Ensure a strong internal control environment, maintaining compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.
- System Utilization & Improvement: Leverage Treasury Management Systems (TMS) and ERP platforms (such as Kyriba, FIS Quantum, Microsoft D365, etc.) to streamline operations , and actively engage in Continuous Improvement activities and projects.
- Financial Reporting & Stakeholder Management: Manage treasury reporting (monitoring, forecasting, and reporting cash flows and liquidity, etc.) , and partner with internal teams (Controllers, Tax, Legal, Product Management, and Risk Management) on various activities.
- Project & Ad Hoc Support: Contribute to ad hoc projects, financial analyses, and specific Treasury activities (e.g., debt financing, employee share purchase plan, bank guarantee, dividend repatriation).
- Deliverables Management: Effectively manage and be accountable for regular weekly, monthly, and quarterly deliverables.
Are you a MATCH
- 3-5 years of working experience in treasury, audit, commercial accounting or shared services accounting is required.
- Experience in handling Treasury operational activities is a must.
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting / Finance / Business Administration.
- Must be fluent in English communication, both verbal and written.
- Demonstrable problem-solving, quantitative and analytical skills, with exceptional attention to detail and rigor.
- Strong stakeholder management, people management and interpersonal skills
- Being conversant in Oracle and Google Suite is preferred, but experience with other ERPs may be considered.
