Job Role

As Director of Operations and Site Head , you will be entrusted with overseeing all aspects of site operations from budget management to resource optimization. Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve developing strategic plans that drive operational efficiency while nurturing a culture of teamwork and mutual respect. You will work closely with various departments to ensure production schedules are met seamlessly, budgets are managed prudently, and performance targets are consistently achieved. By championing continuous improvement initiatives and supporting staff development through targeted training programmes, you will play a vital role in enhancing both individual growth and overall business success. Your ability to foster strong stakeholder relationships will further strengthen the organisation's reputation as an employer of choice.

• Analyse facility spending meticulously to ensure manufacturing variance as well as variable and fixed costs remain within target, supporting the achievement of financial goals.
• Recommend and submit comprehensive fixed, operational, and capital budgets for the location while administering approved budgets with accuracy and transparency.
• Develop detailed plans and objectives that align with organisational strategy and promote continuous improvement across all areas of operation.
• Enable facility operations to consistently achieve key performance measures by implementing best practices and fostering a culture of accountability.
• Plan, monitor, and ensure production schedules are fully aligned with operational capabilities to maximise output without compromising quality or safety.

Requirements:

To excel as Director of Operations and Site Head, your extensive background in operations managementideally gained within the manufacturing sectorwill be invaluable. Your proven ability to manage complex budgets, plan capital investments strategically, and optimise manpower arrangements will set you apart as a trusted leader. • Minimum of 20 years experience in operations management within the industry or similar sectors is highly desirable for this position.
• Demonstrated expertise in budgeting processes including capital planning (CAPEX), operational expenditure control, and resource allocation is essential.
• Proven track record in manpower arrangement with an emphasis on optimising workforce productivity while maintaining employee wellbeing.
• Strong stakeholder management skills evidenced by successful collaboration with internal teams as well as external partners.
