ABOUT THE ROLE
The role requires the individual to uphold and maintain all Visual Merchandising (VM) standards within the stores, ensuring strict adherence to brand guidelines. This involves creating engaging window and interior displays at Rituals locations, primarily aligning with company policies and retail marketing activations to maximize sales performance. The displays must be changed regularly, with themes dictated by various factors such as the seasons, regional and local market moments, specific brand activations, or current promotional materials. The individual is expected to act as a professional and customer-oriented brand ambassador at all times. Furthermore, they will contribute to the store's profitability through efficient merchandise handling, replenishment, and inventory control efforts.

KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible to Create Interior Display and marketing display (including Window) in brand's retail stores and events.
• Create a retail environment that represents the brand using innovative and unique approaches to obtain a customer friendly atmosphere; maintain and grow a visual personality for each store that is reflective of the community in which it is located.
• Implement the company's visual merchandising directives throughout the store; such directives may require some creativity in moulding them into being consistent with the particular store's goals and image.
• Focus on marketing visual merchandising needs by working closely with marketing manager.
• Work with the Operations/Retail Manager/ Marketing Manager/ VP Visual Merchandising and/ or Director in determining specific visual needs, such as fixtures, image photos, and point of sale materials for every market moment and events (instore or out of home)
• Coordinate with Operations & Store Leaders to schedule appropriate time for floor set, shipping processes and receiving merchandise to make sure that merchandise is ready before being displayed for sale in the store.
• Help to train the store team about design concepts, visual display standards, and the proper maintenance of the overall visual display effort.
• Guide customers browsing through merchandise placement and store layout to result in an eventual sale.
• Ensure all stores have necessary VM elements for all products and also to look into inventory management and orders.
• Preparing for promotional events/ launches which could include contributing ideas for the whole set-up and dismantling displays at the end of promotional period.
• To work closely with supplier for materials, fixtures, props and/ or other items for the store/ promotions/ events. To find new suppliers and source/procure in cost effective manner when needed.
Ensure Display are Changed Regularly
• Conduct floor set with floor plan and share store photos with brand principal if required.
• Help in designing and conceptualizing on all promotional materials such as invites, emailer and corporate identity to support Marketing and Merchandising team that compliance with brand VM guidelines.
• Follow up on all VM related paperwork such as raising POs and submission of invoices.
• To have an organize workspace with good filing system, soft and hard copy.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the superior.
Education and Professional Experience
The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of a Diploma or Degree in any discipline. This academic background should be complemented by at least 3 to 5 years of professional experience in a closely related field.
Core Technical and Creative Skills
A crucial requirement is proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) packages and visual planning software. Specifically, candidates must be adept at using tools such as AutoCAD, Mockshop, or the Adobe Creative Suite to effectively create detailed visual plans and design concepts. The role demands strong creative qualities and an ability to be constantly full of inspiration to drive innovative visual solutions.
Personal and Interpersonal Attributes
The individual must be self-reliant and highly self-motivated, demonstrating a strong capacity for independent work. They should possess a pleasant personality and exhibit effective communication skills, fostering a positive team spirit. This includes establishing smooth communication and collaboration between the Creative Services department, retail staff, management, and other internal departments. A key function is to build and maintain good rapport not only with colleagues but also with external customers.
Language Requirements
Fluent command of English, both in written and spoken forms, is mandatory. Knowledge of any other language is considered a valuable advantage.
