We are looking for a Senior Web3 Backend Engineer to design and build high-performance, scalable backend systems for Web3 products. You will play a key role in developing core infrastructure that powers on-chain and off-chain interactions across multiple blockchains.
Key Responsibilities
1. Core System Development
- Design and develop backend architectures for Web3 products such as DEX aggregators, on-chain data services, and wallet management systems, ensuring high concurrency, low latency, and system stability.
- Build and maintain on-chain data pipelines, including data indexing, parsing, and structured storage for major blockchains such as Solana and EVM-based chains.
- Implement real-time monitoring and alerting systems for blockchain data and backend services.
- Design and develop high-performance APIs (RESTful / gRPC / WebSocket) to optimize on-chain and off-chain workflows, including transaction signing and status tracking.
2. Smart Contract & Blockchain Integration
- Develop interaction layers between off-chain services and smart contracts (Solana / EVM), supporting contract calls, transaction submission, and state synchronization.
- Implement multi-chain event listening, aggregation, and routing, enabling complex Web3 business logic across different blockchain ecosystems.
- Support structured storage and processing of on-chain events for downstream services and analytics.
3. Infrastructure & Performance Optimization
- Design and implement microservices architecture, leveraging Docker and Kubernetes for containerized deployment and scalability.
- Optimize backend infrastructure including databases (SQL / NoSQL), caching systems (Redis), and message queues (Kafka) to ensure high availability and system resilience.
- Continuously improve system performance, reliability, and scalability under high transaction volumes.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or above in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related fields.
- 5+ years of backend development experience, with strong exposure to Web3 / blockchain systems.
- Solid understanding of EVM and/or Solana ecosystems, including transaction models, RPC mechanisms, and on-chain data structures.
- Proficiency in backend programming languages such as Go, Java, Rust, or Node.js.
- Hands-on experience with distributed systems, microservices architecture, and cloud-native technologies.
- Familiarity with blockchain data indexing, event-driven systems, and real-time processing pipelines.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently on complex technical challenges.
Language Requirements
- Mandarin Chinese can be used as a working language (spoken and written).
- Ability to collaborate effectively in a bilingual (ChineseEnglish) technical environment is a strong plus.
Nice to Have
- Experience building or integrating DEX aggregators, cross-chain infrastructure, or on-chain analytics platforms.
- Familiarity with Web3 security best practices and transaction risk handling.
- Prior experience supporting high-frequency or high-volume transaction systems.
