Role Overview

We're seeking a Senior Writer to join our 2X Marketing team, focused exclusively on creating high-quality content that builds the 2X brand and drives business growth. Unlike client-facing roles, this position is dedicated to elevating 2X's market presence through thought leadership, campaign content, executive communications, and strategic marketing initiatives.

The ideal candidate brings 7-10 years of professional B2B writing experience with a strong portfolio demonstrating versatility across content formats and the ability to make complex concepts clear and compelling. You're a skilled storyteller who can translate business strategy into engaging content while supporting content operations that enable the brand team to scale effectively.

Key Responsibilities

Content Creation (70-80%)

  • - Independently develop and produce high-quality B2B content including thought leadership pieces, whitepapers, case studies, blog posts, and campaign assets
  • - Write compelling ad copy, email campaigns, landing pages, and other digital marketing collateral
  • - Develop executive communications including CEO messages, leadership updates, and strategic announcements
  • - Create messaging and content for account-based experience (ABX) programs and sales enablement materials
  • - Write content for product launches, company announcements, and corporate communications initiatives
  • - Support M&A integration content needs including announcement materials and integration communications
  • - Craft video scripts, social media content, and multimedia campaign assets
  • - Ensure all content aligns with 2X brand voice, positioning, and messaging frameworks

Content Strategy Support (20-30%)

  • - Conduct audits of 2X content libraries and provide recommendations for content across different stages of the marketing funnel
  • - Collaborate with brand and marketing leadership on content planning and editorial calendars
  • - Research and stay current on content marketing best practices and industry trends
  • - Work with performance marketing and product marketing teams to develop integrated content that supports business objectives
  • - Provide input on content priorities and recommendations for content refresh or retirement
  • - Support development of content briefs and creative direction for campaigns
  • - Analyze content performance data and incorporate insights to improve effectiveness

Collaboration & Execution

  • - Work closely with design, video, campaigns, and marketing teams to deliver integrated content solutions
  • - Communicate effectively with senior leadership to understand business priorities and translate them into compelling content
  • - Coordinate with other writers and contractors to ensure content consistency and quality
  • - Manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high quality standards and meeting deadlines

Required Qualifications

  • - 7-10 years of professional writing experience in B2B marketing (portfolio with published work samples required )
  • - Bachelor's degree in Psychology , Advertising, Humanities, Journalism, Mass Communications, Marketing, Business Administration, or related field
  • - Demonstrated ability to write clear, concise, conversational, grammatically correct, and factually accurate content
  • - Significant experience making complex business and technology concepts easily understood
  • - Strong portfolio showcasing long-form content (blogs, whitepapers, case studies) and short-form content (ad copy, email, social media)
  • - Ability to think creatively and strategically about content
  • - Expertise in content marketing and demand generation principles
  • - Familiarity with business and technology topics
  • - Excellent research and organizational capabilities
  • - Ability to learn quickly and adapt to changing priorities
  • - Proficiency with AI and generative AI tools for content creation and optimization
  • - Amenable to hybrid setup requiring onsite work twice a week

Preferred Qualifications

  • - Experience in technology, SaaS, or professional services industries
  • - Background in PE-backed or high-growth B2B environments
  • - Experience with M&A-related communications or content
  • - Understanding of account-based marketing content requirements
  • - Familiarity with SEO best practices and content optimization
  • - Experience with content management systems and marketing automation platforms
  • - Track record creating executive-level communications
