Key Responsibilities
- Write SEO-optimized content for blogs, landing pages, and web assets
- Conduct keyword research and apply findings to content creation
- Assist in creating content outlines and briefs based on SEO strategy
- Optimize existing content for search engines and user experience
- Collaborate with content editors, designers, and SEO strategists
- Follow brand tone, editorial standards, and content guidelines
- Monitor content performance and make improvements as needed
- Stay updated on SEO and digital content best practices
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field
- 12 years of experience in SEO writing or content creation, good writing, grammar, and editing skills
- Basic understanding of SEO principles and keyword tools (e.g., Ahrefs, Google Keyword Planner)
- Familiarity with CMS platforms like WordPress
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Detail-oriented, curious, and eager to learn
- Financial background or interest in financial topics is a strong plus
- Experience with SEO optimization tools (e.g., Surfer SEO, ahrefs, semrush, Yoast)
- Basic knowledge of HTML and on-page SEO (meta tags, headings, etc.)
- Understanding of Google Analytics and Google Search Console
