Overseeing infrastructure services such as Anti-virus, Databases, Active Directory, Exchange Mail, File Services, Terminal Services, IT Scanning, and web servers.
Ensuring servers meet performance and uptime requirements as per Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
Contributing to the design, implementation, and enhancement of server setups and configurations.
Monitoring server and infrastructure services, managing event logs, and taking necessary corrective actions.
Preparing capacity and availability reports for analysis.
Designing and implementing housekeeping routines, system monitoring, and backup operations.
Ensuring backup integrity and performing restore operations as required.
Managing batch job scheduling and resolution of failed jobs.
Handling print queue management routines.
Reviewing and updating documentation such as SOPs, RCAs, and Knowledge Base articles.
Ensuring compliance with Group IT security standards.
Installing, configuring, and providing L2/L3 support for infrastructure systems, including root cause analysis for incidents and service requests.
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
3-5 years of relevant experience in managing M365, Active Directory, Windows Server, Exchange, and Backup solutions.
Strong experience troubleshooting L2/L3 issues and diagnosing root causes.
Expertise in Windows Server (2012 R2, 2016, 2019) and clustering, with a focus on AD and Exchange configurations.
Proven experience with Backup solutions like Veeam, Backup Exec.
Certification or in-progress certification in Microsoft MCSE/MCSA, ITIL Foundation, and relevant technologies (M365, AD, Exchange).
Familiarity with monitoring tools (e.g., Solarwinds), ITSM tools (e.g., Symphony SummitAI), and scripting (Powershell) is desirable.
This role requires working permanent night shifts to support Canada region, working hours from 11:30 PM to 9 AM, Monday to Friday.
