Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Server role based at Hard Rock Cafe Kuala Lumpur. The Server is responsible for greeting guests, presenting menus, and taking food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently. Daily tasks include delivering orders, checking on guest satisfaction, handling payments, and maintaining cleanliness and organization at tables and service stations. The Server collaborates closely with kitchen and bar staff to ensure timely service and consistent quality. The role also involves explaining menu items, promoting specials and merchandise, following food safety and hygiene standards, and representing the Hard Rock brand with professional, friendly service.

Qualifications

Experience in table service or customer-facing roles in restaurants, cafes, or hospitality settings.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact confidently with diverse guests.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multitask, and maintain attention to detail during busy service periods.
Basic numeracy skills and comfort handling cash, card payments, and point-of-sale (POS) systems.
Commitment to high standards of hygiene, food safety, and personal presentation.
Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
Team-oriented mindset, reliability, and a positive attitude toward learning and feedback.
Previous experience in themed or entertainment-focused venues is an advantage; familiarity with English and Bahasa Malaysia is beneficial.
