The Air Station Sdn. Bhd. is looking for a reliable, hands-on engineer to support the installation, servicing, and maintenance of medical equipment, including sleep diagnostic systems (PSG). This role involves travelling across Malaysia and night visits to support customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Visit customer sites to assess and advise on installation requirements.
- Install, set up, and test medical equipment (including PSG systems)
- Perform regular maintenance and safety checks
- Respond to service calls, troubleshoot issues, and carry out corrective maintenance.
- Support equipment setup for events and assist clinical teams when required.
- Prepare quotations for service and repair work
- Be on standby after working hours (based on a roster) for sleep-related support
- Travel within Klang Valley and outstation when required
- Handle any other tasks assigned by management
Requirements
- Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Biomedical Engineering
- At least 2 years of experience in servicing hospital biomedical equipment
- Experience with PSG or sleep diagnostic equipment is a plus
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Familiar with diagnostic tools and test equipment
- Good communication skills and a customer-focused mindset
- Detail-oriented with a strong focus on quality and safety
- Willing to travel and work outstation when needed
