Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive technical support to customers, including installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, maintenance, calibration, and user training for the company's product range.
- Prepare service quotations and ensure timely follow-up with customers.
- Generate clear, accurate, and timely service reports after each service activity.
- Deliver a positive and professional service experience to customers.
- Manage and support automation-related projects from implementation to completion.
- Perform application support and testing using the company's products.
- Maintain accurate records of project pipelines, installed base, service cases, and contract usage.
- Carry out other ad-hoc duties as assigned by management.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Diploma / Advanced / Higher / Graduate Diploma in Electrical, Electronic Engineering, or equivalent.
- Proficient in English for effective communication with internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to speak, read, and write Mandarin is preferred to support China-based customers.
- Minimum 35 years of relevant working experience in a similar role.
- Knowledge of SCADA, PLC, C++, Java, or related systems is an advantage.
- Prior experience in automation projects is an added advantage.
- Experience in troubleshooting laser-related equipment (e.g. laser cutting, laser welding) is preferred.
- Able to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Willingness to travel within Southeast Asia when required.
