Job Summary
We are seeking a Service Engineer to support warehouse operations, inventory management, RMA activities, and logistics coordination at the YTL Data Center and WYMY site. This role is responsible for ensuring smooth material flow, accurate inventory records, timely shipment arrangements, and efficient handling of defective parts and warranty claims. Fresh graduates with a strong interest in technology and operations are encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities
RMA & Material Recovery
- Coordinate with customers and engineering teams to collect failure information, error logs, and supporting documents for defective parts.
- Process RMA requests and follow up with suppliers on warranty claims, replacements, and repair status.
- Maintain accurate records of all RMA transactions and material movements.
Warehouse & Inventory Management
- Manage incoming and outgoing materials, spare parts, and equipment at customer and company sites.
- Update inventory transactions accurately in the system and ensure inventory records are maintained.
- Monitor stock levels and replenish critical spare parts to support daily operations.
- Review, verify, and fulfill material requests from engineers and customers.
- Ensure proper storage, handling, packing, and labeling of materials.
Logistics & Shipping Coordination
- Coordinate domestic and international shipments with logistics providers and customers.
- Prepare shipping documentation and ensure compliance with logistics requirements.
- Track shipments and maintain records of transportation costs, duties, taxes, and related expenses.
- Support timely delivery and return of materials to meet operational requirements.
Requirements
Education & Qualifications
- Diploma or Degree in Engineering, Information Technology, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or related fields.
- Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Candidates with experience in warehouse operations, inventory control, logistics, or RMA management will have an added advantage.
Skills & Competencies
- Proficient in English, Mandarin, and Malay, both written and spoken.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
- Good organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Basic knowledge of computer hardware, server components, or IT equipment is an advantage.
- Able to communicate effectively with customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
