Intern's Learning Opportunities

To learn and apply service management fundamentals of Incident, Problem & Change Management in an enterprise environment involving regional and global stakeholders. In addition, to use own analytical skills in deriving improvement plans/initiatives

During the internship period, you will be exposed to these areas:

Responsibilities:

  • To provide support during major incidents and manage necessary follow-up actions post-incident completion.
  • Support in BAU and ad-hoc reporting for Service Management. Get experience in management reporting and join service review discussions as needed
  • Involve in process/operational improvement using PowerBi/AI skills. Potential initiatives to be involved:
    • Automating impact assessment data capture for APEC region
    • Revamp of country scoring mechanism for Service Management
    • Support local country helpdesk centralization initiative
    • Support supervisor on other BAU & ad-hoc Service Management activities for the APEC region, for e.g.:
      • Monitoring & analysis of country KPIs/scorecard
      • Collaborate with Global on IT Scorecard KPI changes for Service Management
      • Monitoring & tracking BCP / IT DRP activities with regional countries

    Requirements:

    • Higher Diploma/Degree in Information Systems/Computer Science.
    • Basic knowledge of PowerBI / AI is preferred
    • Internship period of minimum 6 months
