Our Client:
We are partnering with a German based MNC that specializes in manufacturing of Industrial Machinery. The company is expanding their Malaysia operations and looking for a Service Manager as part of their strategic growth.
Responsibility:
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and operational standards across all field service activities.
- Maintain structured service workflows to meet contractual obligations and service benchmarks.
- Drive high service quality through team performance management and regular evaluations.
- Act as the escalation point for service-related matters, including technical issues, complaints, and warranty claims.
- Maintain close communication with clients to understand their evolving needs and ensure long-term satisfaction.
- Represent the company professionally during on-site visits, negotiations, and service reviews.
- Track and analyze team performance through key metrics and reporting tools.
- Manage contract profitability and oversee service agreements to ensure effective delivery and cost control.
Requirements:
- Degree or diploma in Engineering, Technical Management, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 5 years of leadership experience in a service or operations-related role.
- Familiarity with electro-mechanical systems or field-based technical services is advantageous.
- Strong leadership and people management skills with a proven ability to guide and motivate teams.
- Effective communicator with proficiency in English (written and verbal).
- Demonstrated ability to manage customer relationships and resolve operational challenges promptly.
- Analytical thinker with experience using performance indicators to drive improvements.
- Comfortable using ERP systems (e.g., SAP) and productivity tools (MS Office, etc.).
