Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced Application / System Support Engineer to manage and support production systems used in airline/airport environments. This role involves incident management, system monitoring, troubleshooting, and ensuring systems run smoothly within SLA.
Required Skills & Experience
- 35 years of experience in Application / Production / System Support
- Strong experience in Linux (RHEL 7/8)
- Hands-on experience with MongoDB
- Experience in incident, problem, and change management
- Good understanding of SLA-based support and client interaction
- Knowledge of ITIL processes
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and support production applications and systems
- Handle incidents, service requests, and problem tickets
- Perform root cause analysis (RCA) for recurring issues
- Work on Linux (RHEL) servers and MongoDB database troubleshooting
- Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors for issue resolution
- Deploy changes and updates as required
- Maintain documentation for incidents and processes
- Provide on-call support when required
Good to Have
- Experience in Airline / Aviation / Airport IT systems
- ITIL Certification
- RHCSA / RHCE or MongoDB certification
