Job Description

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Application / System Support Engineer to manage and support production systems used in airline/airport environments. This role involves incident management, system monitoring, troubleshooting, and ensuring systems run smoothly within SLA.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 35 years of experience in Application / Production / System Support
  • Strong experience in Linux (RHEL 7/8)
  • Hands-on experience with MongoDB
  • Experience in incident, problem, and change management
  • Good understanding of SLA-based support and client interaction
  • Knowledge of ITIL processes

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor and support production applications and systems
  • Handle incidents, service requests, and problem tickets
  • Perform root cause analysis (RCA) for recurring issues
  • Work on Linux (RHEL) servers and MongoDB database troubleshooting
  • Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors for issue resolution
  • Deploy changes and updates as required
  • Maintain documentation for incidents and processes
  • Provide on-call support when required

Good to Have

  • Experience in Airline / Aviation / Airport IT systems
  • ITIL Certification
  • RHCSA / RHCE or MongoDB certification
