ServiceNow CMDB & ITSM Configuration Manager

Job Responsibilities

You develop and implement configuration management strategies, policies, and procedures to ensure the accuracy, integrity, and reliability of configurations items in the Configuration Management Database (CMDB)

You structure, administer and maintain of the CMDB, including data quality assurance, data entry, data updating and data cleansing

You collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and document configuration management requirements.

You identify IT assets, configuration items (CIs) and their relationships and links in the CMDB

You train employees in the ITSM processes introduced in the company and in the correct use of the CMDB to maintain service quality

You identify potential and implement changes to increase the service quality of the ITSM processes and the CMDB

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.

Several years of experience and good knowledge in the administration of CMDBs and ITSM processes

Good knowledge of IT service management processes according to ITIL

Good knowledge of Configuration Management in ServiceNow

Good knowledge of IT infrastructure, network architecture, databases such as Microsoft SQL

Skills in data analysis and creation of reports and dashboards

Problem-solving skills and an independent, priority-based way of working

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Didactic competence

Fun to familiarize yourself with new topics

Good English knowledge
