Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and optimize ServiceNow ITAM solutions, with a primary focus on HAM and SAM modules.
- Manage end-to-end hardware asset lifecycle activities, including asset provisioning, inventory management, allocation, transfers, audits, reconciliation, retirement, and disposal.
- Configure and maintain software asset management processes such as software normalization, entitlement management, license tracking, compliance monitoring, reclamation, and optimization.
- Develop and customize ServiceNow components, including workflows, business rules, client scripts, script includes, UI policies, catalog items, flows, notifications, reports, and dashboards.
- Integrate ServiceNow ITAM with CMDB, Discovery, procurement platforms, endpoint management tools, and other third-party applications.
- Ensure alignment between ITAM, ITSM, ITOM, and CMDB processes to improve data integrity, asset visibility, and operational effectiveness.
- Execute data migration, imports, transformation, normalization, reconciliation, and remediation activities to maintain high-quality asset data.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, solution architects, process owners, and technical teams to gather requirements and deliver scalable solutions.
- Produce technical documentation, configuration guides, deployment documents, testing artifacts, and knowledge transfer materials.
- Support testing cycles, issue resolution, production deployments, post-production support, and continuous platform improvement initiatives.
Required Skills & Experience
- Minimum 6 years of hands-on ServiceNow development experience.
- Proven expertise in ServiceNow ITAM, particularly in HAM and SAM implementation and support.
- Strong understanding of hardware and software asset lifecycle management processes.
- Experience developing and configuring ServiceNow using:Flow Designer

- Solid experience with CMDB, Discovery, data normalization, reconciliation processes, and asset-to-CI relationships.
- Knowledge of software license compliance, software models, entitlement management, publisher compliance, and optimization practices.
- Hands-on experience with REST/SOAP integrations, IntegrationHub, Import Sets, Transform Maps, and scheduled jobs.
- Good understanding of ITIL best practices and integration between ITAM, Incident, Change, Request, Procurement, and Configuration Management processes.
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills with the ability to resolve complex platform issues.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

- ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist – HAM (CIS-HAM)

- ITIL Foundation Certification
Educational Qualification
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field. Equivalent practical experience will also be considered.
