About The Role

Working Hours 2.00pm – 11.00pm
The ServiceNow Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing ServiceNow solutions to meet the needs of our digital transformation, business functions and users. This role involves working closely with stakeholders to understand requirements, customizing the platform, and ensuring optimal performance and user experience.
Key responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement custom applications and enhancements on the ServiceNow platform using JavaScript, GlideScript, and ServiceNow APIs.
- Configure, customize, and support ServiceNow modules including ITSM, HRSD, SPM, and ITOM.
- Build and enhance UI Builder and Workspace experiences, delivering intuitive, role-based user interfaces.
- Develop and maintain workflows, Flow Designer, business rules, UI policies, UI actions, client scripts, and ACLs to automate and optimize business processes.
- Design, implement, and support integrations with third-party applications using REST/SOAP APIs, MID Server, and IntegrationHub.
- Manage and enhance CMDB, CSDM, and Discovery, ensuring data accuracy, governance, and alignment with best practices.
- Build dashboards, KPIs, and reports using Platform Analytics and platform reporting to provide actionable insights to stakeholders.
- Ensure data integrity through imports, transformations, and validation processes.
- Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve ServiceNow platform and application issues, providing technical guidance and support to users.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, including system configurations, integrations, workflows, and solution designs.
- Collaborate with IT and business teams to gather requirements, design solutions, and ensure successful delivery of ServiceNow initiatives.
- Stay current with ServiceNow releases, features, and best practices, recommending continuous improvements to platform performance and user experience
Qualifications And Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in ServiceNow development and administration.
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript, GlideScript, and ServiceNow APIs.
- Strong understanding of ServiceNow platform architecture and core capabilities.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a global, Agile environment.
Preferred Skills
- Strong ServiceNow development experience leveraging core platform capabilities.
- Hands-on experience with ITSM, HRSD, SPM, or ITOM modules (any two modules are mandatory).
- Hands-on experience with UI Builder and Workspace configuration and customization.
- Strong hands-on experience in integrations with third-party applications.
- Experience with CMDB, CSDM, and Discovery, including data quality and governance.
- Proven experience in building dashboards and reports using Platform Analytics.
- Exposure to AI Assist, Now Assist, or Moveworks is an added advantage.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum delivery environments.
- Solid knowledge of ITIL processes and best practices.
- ServiceNow certifications (CAD/SPM/Discovery) are an added advantage.
