Job Summary

Responsible for end-to-end settlement processing across FX, Money Markets, and Derivatives, ensuring timely, accurate, and controlled settlement in line with SLAs, cut-offs, and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily FX, MM & Derivatives settlements, payments, confirmations, and funding.
• Investigate and resolve settlement breaks, payment failures, and reconciliation discrepancies.
• Perform payment instruction validation and maker-checker controls.
• Monitor settlement queues, cut-offs, KPIs, and aged breaks.
• Coordinate with Front Office, Middle Office, Client Services, Nostro/Reconciliation, and counterparties.
• Support RCA, risk management, audit requirements, and operational controls.
• Contribute to process improvement, automation, and STP initiatives.

Must-Have Skills

• 5–10 years in Banking Operations / Settlements.
• Strong FX & Derivatives Settlement experience.
• Good knowledge of Money Markets.
• Experience with Settlement Breaks, Reconciliation, Payments & Exception Management.
• Hands-on experience with Murex, SWIFT, and/or Nostro systems.
• Strong analytical, investigation, stakeholder management, and risk-control skills.
