Role Summary
This role is designed as a high-impact operational and strategic support function to the Head of the Client Settlements department. The candidate will be responsible for driving settlement-related initiatives, enhancing PSP performance monitoring, improving funding workflows, and ensuring strong operational control across all payment channels.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities
- Daily validation of PSP deposit/withdrawal flows (success rates, processing time, reconciliation accuracy)
- Monitor PSP cost structure (fees, FX cost, hidden cost leakage)
- Identify anomalies in transaction behaviour and escalate risks proactively
- Perform ongoing PSP risk assessment (counterparty risk, fund exposure, operational reliability)
- Monitor PSP balances and liquidity distribution across channels
- Support development of PSP risk dashboards and alert mechanisms
- Review and improve current settlement SOPs and workflows
- Identify inefficiencies in reconciliation, fund routing, and approval processes
- Drive automation initiatives (API, dashboards, tagging systems)
- Act as execution owner for settlement-related projects (for example, PSP API integration, auto-withdrawal, ledger monitoring)
- Coordinate effectively with other departments, like Product, Tech, BO Funding, and Risk teams
- Track project milestones and ensure timely delivery
- Build structured reporting on PSP performance, funding flows, and operational KPIs
- Support decision-making through data insights (cost optimization, risk exposure, efficiency improvements)
