Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role located in Puchong for a Shadow Aide cum Special Needs Educator. The role involves supporting students with special needs in a middle school setting. Day-to-day tasks include assisting students during lessons, providing one-on-one support, adapting teaching methods to meet individual needs, and collaborating with teachers and parents to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs). Additionally, the role includes observing student progress, maintaining detailed records, and fostering a positive learning environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in working with students with disabilities and special education needs
• Strong teaching skills and experience in a middle school environment
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with teachers, parents, and other stakeholders
• Patience, empathy, and dedication to supporting the unique needs of each student
• Bachelor's degree in Special Education, Education, or related field
• Relevant certifications in special education are a plus
• Able to converse in Mandarin is a must
