Overview:
The Share Margin Financing (SMF) Sales Executive supports the SMF Team Lead in driving sales and business development for SMF. We are hiring for multiple headcounts with different job levels.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales & Business Development:
- Drive product awareness through various channels to build new-to-bank (NTB) sales pipeline and drive the utilisation for SMF business
- Manage the relationship and create stickiness with in-market brokers/dealers/remisiers/clients through unrivalled customer service
- Handle customer complaints effectively, provide appropriate solutions and alternatives; follow up closely to ensure issues are resolved
- Actively participate and promote the Bank's marketing campaign to drive NTB acquisition and SMF utilisation
- Perform visitation to external brokers, branches and Priority Banking Center on monthly/quarterly basis, depending on the coverage
- Update Wealth Asset Financing product manager on the latest client feedbacks on products feature, marginable listings and what other competitors are doing
- Cross-sell and refer other Banking products such as Current and Saving Accounts, Mortgage, Hire Purchase, Personal Loan and Credit Cards
Training:
- To support and conduct product training/briefing to panel of external brokers/branch personal bankers/Regional Wealth Management relationship managers/Branch Managers) on SMF and other Wealth Asset Financing products
- Undertake ad-hoc task assigned by Head of Department
Stakeholder Management:
- Collaborate and build strong working relationships not only within Regional Wealth Management, but other business partners such as Branches, Regional offices and stakeholders in Head Office
- Provide accurate, valid, complete and latest information to internal and external stakeholders
Compliance:
- Support and assist Head of Wealth Asset Financing and Team Lead, SMF in audit and compliance related matter for the SMF, in line with the Bank's internal policy, standard and procedures and other regulatory requirements
Jobholder Requirements:
Education/Qualification:
- Minimum Diploma or Undergraduate Degree in Accounting, Economics, Finance, Business Studies or Marketing
Experience:
- 3-8 years of relevant experience in Global Markets, Stockbroking and Wealth Management is a plus.
- Candidates who passed SIDC Module 6 & 7 are encouraged to apply
