About The Role
We are looking for a diligent and detail-oriented
Shariah Risk Analyst to join RHB Banking Group. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying, assessing, monitoring, mitigating, and reporting Shariah non-compliance and operational risks across the Group's Islamic financial activities. You will ensure alignment with Bank Negara Malaysia's Shariah Governance Framework and the Bank's internal risk policies.
What You Will Be Doing
- Identify and assess Shariah non-compliance risks and operational risks within the Bank's Islamic financial operations.
- Monitor and track risk indicators and ensure effective mitigation measures are implemented.
- Report Shariah and operational risk findings to relevant stakeholders in a timely and accurate manner.
- Ensure compliance with Bank Negara Malaysia's Shariah Governance Framework.
- Align risk management activities with internal policies and procedures to maintain robust Shariah governance.
What We're Looking For
- Strong knowledge of Islamic banking products, Shariah principles, and regulatory frameworks.
- Experience in risk assessment, compliance monitoring, and reporting.
- Analytical mindset with attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills to liaise with internal stakeholders and Shariah advisory committees.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple risk monitoring tasks.
