Job Description

Shift Charge Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Accountable to efficient operation on GF2 2 X 300MW and GF1 2X 300MW Coal, Oil and Gas fired Steam Power Plant operations including Auxiliary Plants (Ash Handling, Mill etc) (isolation, normalization, synchronization, etc). Implement Key Plant Performance / Business Improvement / Cost Saving Initiatives.

• To write shift log for every shift and reports when required (UOIR, Near-miss, Hazard, Accident, etc).

• To analyze, accept and monitor the defects raise in MAXIMO.

• To issue PTW.

• To lead Emergency Respond Team (for GF2 SCE).

• To coordinate and supervise subordinates. To carry out plant routine tests and changeover of auxiliary equipment with supervision of immediate supervisors.

• To appropriately respond to alarms / emergencies according to standard protocols and to conduct initial troubleshooting.

• To undertake any other duties assigned by superior.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or a related disciplines from a recognized University or at least Second Grade Steam Engineer.
  • Foundation knowledge in fuel supply, thermodynamics, efficiency calculation, process modeling and combustion technology.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Possess good communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills.

Mechanical Engineer

Responsibilities:

  • To execute maintenance activities related to Boiler Pressure Parts (HP & HT System) equipment's and comply with Maintenance Policy, approved budget, operational requirement and legal requirement.
  • To monitor the execution of all Boiler Pressure Parts (HP & HT System) plant equipment overhaul, preventive and corrective maintenance.
  • To monitor adequate resources for the maintenance activities.
  • To execute plant trouble shooting and root cause analysis.
  • To manage the Maintenance Module in Maximo.
  • To prepare and submit maintenance report and overhaul report.
  • To manage Boiler Pressure Parts (HP & HT System) section maintenance records.
  • To monitor and manage tools calibrate especially section special & personal tools.
  • To execute list of plant outage activities.
  • To supervise implementation of risk mitigation through TRIS system and plant equipment life assessment.
  • To monitor maintenance activities comply with QSHE (Quality, Safety, Healthy, Environment), ICE (Integrity, Commitment, Excellent), regulations compliance as EC, DOE, DOSH.
  • To manage training need for Boiler Pressure Parts (HP & HT System)staff and development program of staff competency.
  • To monitor staff to comply and implement adhere ISMS (Integration Standard Management System) standards (ISO 9001, ISO 14000, ISO 27000 & ISO 45000).

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized University.
