Shift Lead (Engineer)

Summary of the role:

You'll supervise a production shift team (operators and technicians) to hit daily output targets safely and efficiently, driving discipline, coaching, and performance while tracking key KPIs like OEE, downtime, waste, and quality defects.

What you'll be doing:

• Shift leadership & execution: lead operators/ technicians, coordinate schedules and RM readiness with Planning/Warehouse, and deliver daily production targets with strong discipline.
• Line performance & troubleshooting: monitor line efficiency and quality, resolve equipment/ process issues fast, and minimize downtime, waste, and shortfalls.
• KPI tracking & reporting: track OEE, machine utilization, volume, overtime spend, downtime, yield, waste and defects, and drive corrective actions.
• Coaching & capability building: train and coach the team on process/ equipment/ safety, support cross-training and continuous improvement, and manage performance reviews and feedback.

Requirements:

• Degree in Chemical/ E&E/ Mechanical Engineering (or related)
• Must be able to work shifts.
• 2 years of supervisory experience leading operators and technicians.
• Working knowledge of food safety standards (HACCP, GMP, ISO).
• Familiar with lean/ CI tools and structured problem-solving.
• Strong leadership, discipline, and communication.
