What You'll Be Doing
Evyap is seeking a Shipping Executive to coordinate end-to-end shipping and logistics operations, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of goods.
Job Responsibilities
- Ensure all activities that are carried out are following ESM Integrated Management System requirements (ISO 9001, FSSC 22000, GMP+, GMP, HACCP, EFICI GMP for Cosmetic Ingredients, ISO 22716, KOSHER, HALAL, RSPO and MSPO).
- Ensure all freight booking being place on time with booking party, carrier or liner in term of low-cost freight, earliest sailing schedule, fast transit time and good service for all finish products to meet customer requirement shipment date.
- To arrange / handle day-to-day shipment operations including coordinate logistics operational arrangement with transporters.
- Ensuring shipments are made on time by coordinating with shipping agencies, forwarders and suppliers.
- Follow up and ensure that every container being trucked in time following cargo readiness & available to load, minimize unnecessary cost incur e.g. trailer detention, demurrage and detention, outside port storage, etc.
- Co-ordinate with internal and external stakeholders for related shipments and documentation to ensure smooth in operation.
- Ensure in-house application system is up-to-date timely and accurately for superior and management report generation, monitoring, review and tracking.
- Check and verify of external invoices from shipping lines, forwarders, transporters, customs brokers.
- Update billing invoices under freight cost in SAP for payment processes.
- Tracking the progress of shipments and ensuring orders are filed correctly.
- Working with customs to ensure in compliance to regulations - import and export permit application.
- Complete other special assignments, ad-hoc functions and related duties as required.
Job Requirements
- Minimum a Degree or Diploma in Transport & Logistics / Business Administration or its equivalent
- Minimum 2 - 3 years of relevant experience (Experience in Oleochemical/ Chemical/Refinery industry will be added advantage)
- SAP knowledge is advantage
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Analytical thinking & problem solving skills
- Ale to work under pressure and meet tight datelines
- Able to work in Pasir Gudang area.
