Job Description

Salary range:RM8000 RM11000 per month

Key Responsibility:

1.Overall responsibility of development, implementing and monitoring Occupational Health, Environmental and Safety programs.

2.Manage compliance and monitor all in-house staffs and outsourced contractor compliance with relevant regulations and legislation, and lead EHS risk assessment and method statements across Data Centre project sites to ensure teams are meeting contractual and legal responsibilities and requirements

3.Inspect and evaluate the environment, equipment and processes in working areas to ensure compliance with our customer requirements, government EHS regulations and applicable industry standards.

4.Familiar with ISO 14001 and 45001 application process and co-lead the company to obtain these two ISO certifications by Q42024.

5.Candidate is responsible to develop EHS operational handbook, best practices, processes (e.g. SOP & EOP), etc. and implement on site.

Requirements:

1.Good knowledge of all laws that govern for Occupational Health, Safety and Environment for Data Centre related building management and maintenance, including building safety, emergency evacuation and environmental protection.

2.Bachelor of Science degree (preferred but not necessary) preferably in Safety Engineering, Environmental Science or EHS related discipline.

3.Must be registered/certified EHS Officer in Malaysia, with green book.

4.Other Professional EHS Certifications (e.g. Certified Environmental, Safety and Health, Charter Safety and Health Practitioner, Certified Professional Environment Auditor, Certified Safety Health Manager, Certified chartered Generalist OHS professional, and/or others) would add credentials.

5.Conversant in ISO 14001, ISO 45001 and all Malaysia EHS legislation including OSH Act, Factories & Machinery Act, Fire Services Act, Environmental legislation and subsidiary regulations

6.Minimum of 8-10 years experience (preferred but not necessary) of progressive experience leading EHS with heavy emphasis in safety, loss prevention and/or industrial hygiene in manufacturing operations and proven results leading and managing compliance and EHS management systems.
