Purpose of role:

The Shopper Marketing Manager is a strategic role focused on delivering shopper-centric executions across key customers. It owns the shopper agenda, translating insights into impactful activation strategies, and ensures seamless conversion of ATL campaigns into effective in-store experiences that drive shopper engagement and business growth

Responsibilities include:

Trade & Shopper Strategy

  • Lead annual channel strategy by defining key priorities, growth levers, and resource allocation aligned to business objectives.
  • Develop and execute insight-driven shopper marketing strategies, designing tailored activation plans and promotions across channels and customers.
  • Collaborate with Sales and Category teams to leverage data and insights, influence Joint Business Planning, and deliver differentiated, high-impact customer strategies.

Trade Campaign & New Product Launches

  • Plan and execute product launches and campaigns with Sales and Marketing through effective trade activations.
  • Drive impactful in-store and online shopper engagement through strong visibility, POP, and optimized shopper journey tactics.
  • Lead O+O initiatives with e-commerce teams and contribute to IBP forecasting and planning

In-Store Execution Excellence

  • Define and implement In-Store Fundamentals and Picture of Success (PiCOS) to ensure execution excellence across channels.
  • Manage in-store execution through KPIs, display guidelines, and close coordination with Sales, merchandisers, and agencies.
  • Drive Perfect Store initiatives, including store setup and optimization, supported by regular market visits and competitor analysis to identify growth opportunities

Monthly Activation Cascade

  • Own and manage 12-month rolling integrated ATL & BTL activities calendar, with instore activity plan that flows through from the approved campaign plan.
  • Chair the monthly SMM and collaborate all parties across Marketing & Sales to drive plan & execution alignment.
  • Monthly sales bulletin consolidation and cascade with clear BTL activations, promotion & display guideline.
  • Lead the Shopper agenda within Blackmores as the functional lead in internal & external meetings.

Others – Budget & People

  • Manage Shopper Marketing budget and drive spend optimization with ROI mindset.
  • Manage Supplier Relationships with all POS, printers and designers. Maintain a preferred supplier list and consistently cross quote to improve costs and retain competitive relationships
  • Through direct or dotted line accountability, ensure the junior executives are working to deliver the executional elements within key customers & provide them the necessary coaching & direction

Who are you

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
  • Minimum eight (8) years of working experience in FMCG Category/ Channel Marketing/ Trade Marketing role.
  • Trade understanding and activation experience
  • Advanced Excel, Word and PowerPoint & presentation skills
  • Strategic thinking, analytical with business acumen
  • Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools (ie. Excel, Powerpoint, Power BI)
  • Strong strategic thinking and ability to connect trends to opportunities and to translate these into executable plans that can unlock growth across markets
  • Demonstrates good insights generations and analytical skills to develop robust shopper marketing strategies
  • Effective cross-functional team player to lead team discussion and planning for brand portfolio to ensure successful delivery initiatives.
  • Strong business and commercial acumen; understanding Blackmores strategies, as well as customer and consumer marketing environment.
