You will design, build, and run reliable infrastructure services that support large-scale applications and machine learning workloads. The role focuses on automation, performance engineering, scalability, and operational excellence.
● Design, build, and maintain scalable, fault-tolerant, and highly available infrastructure and services.
● Partner with engineering teams to ensure applications are designed for reliability, performance, and operability.
● Build automation to improve efficiency and reduce manual operational tasks (toil reduction).
● Monitor and analyze performance to proactively identify bottlenecks; ensure systems can handle rapid growth in traffic and data processing.
● Implement observability: metrics, logs, tracing, alerting, and dashboards; set SLOs/SLIs/SLAs.
● Participate in on-call rotations; perform incident triage, RCA, and lead blameless postmortems.
● Implement security best practices and help ensure systems meet relevant compliance and regulatory requirements.
● Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science/IT/Engineering (or equivalent experience).
● 3+ years of experience as an SRE, systems engineer, platform engineer, or software engineer in production environments.
● Proficiency in at least one programming language (Python, Go, Java, or C++) and shell scripting; solid understanding of data structures and algorithms.
● Strong Linux fundamentals and familiarity with open-source technologies.
● Good understanding of network architecture and troubleshooting (DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, TCP/IP).
● Working knowledge of relational databases and data modeling; ability to write basic to intermediate SQL queries.
● Experience with containers and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
● Experience with monitoring/observability stacks (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/Splunk, OpenTelemetry).
● Exposure to ML platforms/frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch) and ML data processing pipelines.
● Experience with CI/CD, release engineering, and infrastructure-as-code.
● Strong collaboration skills in cross-functional, fast-paced environments.
