Site Safety Supervisor (6 months Contract - Johor Bahru)

Job Responsibilities:

1. To perform safety inspections and audits at sites as to ensure OSH system is effective and in compliance to regulatory requirements and internal OSH procedure.
2. To establish and deliver OSH related trainings to all level of employees.
3. To assist Manager, EH&S in executing OSH related programmes, promotion and accident prevention initiatives.
4. To carried out investigation into accidents, near misses and dangerous occurrences and take steps to mitigate these risks as instructed by the Manager, EH&S or Management. 
5. To establish Onsite Emergency Response and Evacuation and evaluate it's effectiveness.
6. To always ensure regulatory compliance to Government Acts and Regulations in relation to OSH.
7. To be the focal person and work closely with respective Project Engineer on OSH matters at assigned Sites.
8. To attend any OSH Meeting, Briefing or deliver presentation with regards to OSH matters whenever require by the Client's.
9. To submit Monthly Report on activities, carry out to the Manager, EH&S.
10. Liaison with respective Authorities in relation to SSS scope of work i.e. DOSH, DOE, Bomba etc.
11. Support ISO 45001 and internal audit requirements.

Working Experience:

3 years working experiences either in lifts installation and servicing or in construction industry.

Certificate:

Successfully completed Site Safety Supervisor (SSS) Training at any recognized Training Providers by DOSH.

Skills / Knowledge:

1. Good interpersonal and communication skills.
2. Good knowledge of Microsoft Office application.
3. Completed SSS Training, must possess Yellow Book.
4. Able to supervise and manage Subcontractors at site.
5. Knowledge in EHS related Act & Legislations and HIRARC.
6. Knowledge in Scaffolding & Lifting Procedure will be added as advantage.
7. Able to start immediately will be added as advantage.
