Responsibilities
• To perform safety inspections and audits at sites as to ensure EHS system is effective and in compliance to regulatory requirements and internal EHS procedure.
• To establish and deliver EHS related trainings to Subcontractor performing work at his assign site.
• To manage Subcontractors and ensure compliance towards EHS requirements in accordance to national (OSHA 1994 & FMA 1967) & Client EHS requirements.
• To carried out investigation into accidents, near misses and dangerous occurrences and take steps to mitigate these risks as instructed by Assistant Manager, Southern Region.
• To establish Onsite Emergency Response and Evacuation and evaluate its effectiveness.
• To be the focal person and work closely with Client / Main Contractor EHS Officer on EHS matters at assigned Sites.
• To attend any site EHS Meeting, Briefing or deliver presentation with regards to EHS matters whenever require by the Client's.
• To submit Weekly Report & Monthly Report on activities carry out to the Manager, EH&S.
• To liaise with respective Authorities in relation to SSS scope of work i.e., DOSH, DOE, Bomba etc.
• To perform all other work as and when assigned i.e. lifting plan and etc.
• To receive and act on any other instructions from the Manager, Southern Region or any other person so delegated by him/her.
Requirement
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• High integrity with good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office application.
• Able to work independently as well as being a team-player with strong commitment to Department.
• Must be able to work under pressure and meet the demands of the job.
• Able to work closely and build good rapport with the Client's
• Able to supervise and manage Subcontractors at site.
• Knowledge in EHS related Act & Legislations and HIRARC.
