Site Safety Supervisor

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Conduct regular safety inspections, daily toolbox meeting and audits of the project site to identify potential hazards.
2. Ensure all equipment, tools, and machinery are in safe working condition.
3. Ensure compliance with all applicable Malaysian safety regulations and other relevant standards.
4. Liaise with local authorities and government agencies regarding site inspections and compliance issues.
5. Perform risk assessments and recommend corrective actions to mitigate identified risks.
6. Implement and maintain the company's safety management system.
7. Conduct safety inductions for new employees and subcontractors.
8. Organize and lead regular safety training sessions for site personnel.
9. Investigate any accidents, incidents, or near misses that occur on-site.
10. Prepare detailed reports and propose measures to prevent future occurrences.
11. Implement emergency response plans.
12. Conduct regular emergency drills and ensure readiness for any emergencies.
13. Maintain comprehensive records of safety inspections, training, incident reports, and corrective actions.
14. Prepare monthly safety reports for management review.
15. Serve as the point of contact for all site safety matters.
16. Foster a positive safety culture by promoting open communication and feedback regarding safety concerns.

REQUIREMENTS:

1. Posses at least Diploma in Occupational Safety, Health & Environmental.
2. Minimum two (2) years and above experience.
3. Valid Yellow Book registered Site Safety Supervisor with DOSH.
4. Possesses valid complete medical (onshore/offshore), BOSIET, and Working at Height (WAH) training and H2S training
5. Able to work Independently skills and communicate well with all parties in the project.
6. Highly discipline, responsible and very duty bound.
