Key Responsibilities:
- Implement and monitor the site's Safety, Health and Environmental (SHE) policies in compliance with statutory requirements and company standards
- Conduct daily site inspections and training to ensure safe work practices
- Identify and mitigate potential hazards, unsafe conditions, and unsafe acts at the workplace
- Liaise with the Safety Officer, Site Manager, and subcontractors on safety-related issues
- Prepare and maintain safety documentation including reports, checklists, and records of incidents or near misses
- Ensure workers and visitors comply with site safety rules and use proper PPE
- Promote a strong safety culture and continuous improvement at the project site
Location: Central and Southern
Requirements
- Possess a valid Yellow Book (Site Safety Supervisor) certificate registered with DOSH (Department of Occupational Safety and Health Malaysia)
- Minimum 1 years of relevant experience in construction or renewable energy projects (solar project experience is an added advantage)
- Good knowledge of Malaysian safety regulations and standards
- Strong communication, leadership, and observation skills
- Able to work independently and proactively in a fast-paced project environment
