Job Description

Position : Site SSHE Lead

Location : Kuala Lumpur

Job Description:

Lead and oversee the implementation of SSHE policies, procedures, and standards across project sites.
Provide leadership, supervision, and guidance to SSHE teams and personnel.
Conduct regular SSHE audits, inspections, and risk assessments; ensure timely implementation of corrective and preventive actions.
Ensure compliance with occupational health, safety, security, and environmental regulations, company standards, and project requirements.
Facilitate incident investigations, root cause analysis, and reporting, ensuring lessons learned are communicated and applied.
Coordinate with project management, contractors, and stakeholders to maintain safe working conditions and minimize risks.
Develop, deliver, and monitor SSHE training, toolbox talks, and awareness programs.
Promote a proactive SSHE culture and encourage participation, reporting, and continuous improvement.
Maintain accurate SSHE documentation, records, and reports for audits, inspections, and regulatory compliance.
Ensure readiness for emergency response, including drills, exercises, and contingency planning.
Ensure readiness for emergency response, including drills and safety exercises on-site.

Qualification/Skills:

Minimum ten (10) years of SSHE supervisory or lead experience in onshore and offshore oil and gas projects.
Hold a Diploma or Degree in an SSHE-related subject, Certificated Safety Officer, or Bachelor of Science in Occupational Health and Safety.
Membership in an internationally recognized professional institution (e.g., ISOH or OSHA) is preferred.
