You must be committed, hungry and responsible to be placed in a permanent position at the end of the internship.
Allowance (RM1000+OT)
6-day work week
6 months internship period
Location: Masjid Jamek station
Construction Works
- Read drawings, set out works
- Ensure work on site is according to drawings
- Calculate material quantities for ordering (through Purchasing Department)
- Arrange construction works advised by superior
Managing and liasing with people
- Manage foreign workers, subcontractors
- Produce site diary with worker timesheets
- Manage machinery suppliers
- Liase with Clients, Consultants and Main Contractors
- Attend site meetings
- Solve problems for workers and subcontractors
- Propose solutions for Clients, Consultants and Main Contractors
Construction Documentation
- Calculate site measurements
- Ensure RFI and photos submitted for EOT
- Compile samples for clients, get necessary approvals for site works
- Do site measurements with Manager
Requirements
- Pursuing a Degree in relevant discipline (Civil Engineering, Construction)
- Own Transport & Accommodation
- Good work ethic
- Computer-savvy
